Vintage instrument restoration - Got an old instrument that is priceless for any reason? David has been building violins and dulcimers for over 30 years and has restored and repaired many vintage instruments over that same time period. You can trust the work to enhance the vintage status of your instrument, or, as in the case of vintage Gibson mandolins, to restore the instrument to its former playability.

Violin adjustment, restoration, profiling, and finishing - Can't find that perfect violin? David specializes in bringing concert quality violins from "in the white" through Cremona-style treatment of the wood and hand varnishing to the final adjustment for fiddle or concert play.

Piano tuning/concert tuning and regulation for the demanding player - Got a piano? All pianos should be tuned to standard pitch at least twice per year and regulated as necessary. Tune your piano to the standard of your choice. Individualized regulation to the character of the instrument and the primary player. All tuning is done with a Peterson 490ST strobe tuner.
