Gold mastering

Gold mastering is the best overall deal and is designed for major album projects and for those who want the highest quality results. All available digital and analog techniques will be applied as necessary. There will be up to four test CD rounds, if necessary. As with Basic and Custom mastering, only shipping and materials will be charged. A Certified Master is included at no extra charge.

Many choose Custom Mastering when recording an album to get test masters of the best mixes ($90/song with several proofs) and then upgrade for $60/additional/song to Gold Mastering to finish the final album.

(A collection of "singles" does not usually make a pleasing album. Attention must be paid to sequence, timing, and transition - this is impossible to do when the songs are mastered one at a time out of sequence. Usually most of these songs will require re-mastering to make an excellent album.)
